The Brief

Enjoy St Albans is the digital face of St Albans’ tourism offering – championing food, culture, events and hidden gems for visitors and locals. Under the St Albans BID, their goal was to raise the city’s profile, increase reach & engagement, and drive tourism to St Albans. 

We were brought in on a project basis to supercharge their social media presence and create content that would speak to both loyal residents and curious day-trippers.

Our Approach

We built a focused content strategy with clear pillars (Food & Drink, Local History, Experiences, and Tourism), mapped to audience behaviour and platform trends.

We hit the streets, connected with local businesses, and built a strong content bank through in-person storytelling and real-time engagement.

Short-Form Video First
We led with reels, voiceovers, and hook-first formats — including what became the most-viewed post of the year: a viral BattleKarts St Albans reel.

Community Engagement
We ran polls, answered comments, and created a two-way dialogue with followers — building trust and reach in equal measure.

Performance Reporting & Optimisation
We refined our approach weekly, tailoring content based on what was performing best and where non-local reach was growing fastest.
