The Challenge.
AEL Markhams, a well-established professional services firm, had evolved significantly over the years. Having successfully grown through a series of strategic acquisitions, the business had expanded its capabilities, sector expertise, and client base. However, its online presence hadn’t kept pace.
The previous website, built several years earlier, no longer reflected the size, sophistication, or breadth of the organisation today. Visually and structurally, it felt outdated — giving the impression of a much smaller, less dynamic firm than what AEL Markhams had become.
There was a clear disconnect: the business had evolved, but the brand experience hadn’t. This created both credibility risks and missed opportunities when it came to attracting new clients, retaining talent, and standing out in a highly competitive market.
