We partnered with St Albans Basements to elevate their brand and digital presence. This included a full rebrand with new guidelines and a suite of branded assets, a complete website redesign focused on showcasing their exceptional work, and a solid SEO strategy built from the ground up. We clarified their positioning in the market, improved user experience, and ensured their website is now both visually compelling and search engine-friendly — helping them reach new audiences with confidence.

Branding.

With a strong reputation amongst their customers and historic lead generation through word of mouth it was time to give St Albans basement the brand look and feel their business deserved and so they could confidently go forth to grow their market share amongst those who did not already know about them.

What we did:

  • Produced brand guidelines and a toolkit based on their brief and goals of how they want to be perceived in the marketplace.
  • With a strong brand signed off we helped them to create a number of branded assets that really show off who St Albans Basements are. This included; company branded clothing, billboards, wraps and vinyl.

Website Design & Build.

The St Albans Basements website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and failed to clearly represent their core services or showcase the exceptional quality of their construction work.

What we did:

  • Designed and developed a modern, responsive website aligned with SEO best practices to improve visibility and search performance.

  • Created a clean, intuitive user experience focused on guiding visitors through services and project showcases.

  • Integrated high-impact video and visual elements to bring the client’s stunning basement transformations to life.

  • Structured content to better communicate the brand’s expertise, trustworthiness, and craftsmanship.

  • Optimised site speed and performance to enhance usability across all devices.

SEO.

St Albans basements had no SEO foundations on their old website meaning hundreds if not thousands of yearly visitors were not finding their website and the services they offer.

What we did: 

  • Devised a keyword map based off extensive research and analysis into their specific space within the construction industry including 3 of their competitors.
  • With around 10 pages being suitable for optimisation we carefully selected a primary and in some instances a secondary keyword that were most suitable for each of those pages and optimised the pages accordingly.
  • Built out the website based on core SEO principles to give it the best chance of ranking well in SERPS.

Brand positioning. 

St Albans basements is a well established and trusted business in operation since 2014, with accreditations and a wealth of beautifully completed basement constructions and conversions. However, for those potential customers visiting their old website much of this amazing detail and important trust signals was missed or buried.

  • We helped to elevate their brand not just visually but with its positioning. We supported St Albans basements with strap lines, key headings and sub headings and wording through the website to better connect with their target audience and position themselves as they desired within this industry.
