OnBrand’s Festive TikTok Campaign – 12 Days of Christmas

This Christmas we took the opportunity at OnBrand to showcase our TikTok expertise with a “12 Days of Festive Marketing Tips” campaign.

Every day for 12 days, pre Christmas to the New Year, we created and posted a series of Top Festive Marketing Tips and shared on our social media channels. The majority of tips would resonate all year round not just at Christmas, so we wanted to post them again below, so they can be referred to time and time again. We hope you found them useful!

As part of our first tip we talk about how a little dressing of your website and social media channels during the festive period will engage your visitors. This is true for all key calendar dates through the year, from Valentines to Halloween, dress your digital channels with seasonal imagery and use this period to push timely promotions to really engage your audience, increase brand awareness and sales.

This is true any time of the year, when it comes to creating digital ads on Google or LinkedIn for example, always ensure you  consider your target audience and which channel would be most appropriate to reach them, be creative with eye-catching designs, and always review and tweak live ads as necessary.

The Christmas period can provide the perfect time to offer limited “freebies” such as free delivery, returns, or free gifts/samples with any purchase. Wow and delight your customers and give them a reason to choose you over the competition.

Tip 5 Sarah, our SEO expert Sarah shares her top tips to use keywords to make your brand more visible online whether its over the festive period, or in fact any time of year. Tools such as Semrush can give you a wealth of information you can use to ensure you are targeting the right keywords with your campaigns and therefore being found more often by your customers. Here Sarah tells us all about Google Trends and how data driven insight to develop your content marketing strategy and campaigns. Google Trends is a website by Google that analyses the popularity of top search queries in Google Search across various regions and languages. The website uses graphs to compare the search volume of different queries over time. Keeping a check on this can uncover some areas of focus for your business which you might want to develop content plans and campaigns around.

Here Sarah is back letting us know how to use LinkedIn’s Audience Creator to get in front of YOUR target audience more than once. Retargeting is the technique of placing an online ad in front of someone who has already had an interaction with your website, LinkedIn company profile page or previously run LinkedIn ads before. This is highly useful and should form part of any paid ads strategy as it allows you to create opportunities to have multiple touchpoints with a potential customer. This Festive TikTok campaign is just one way in which you can rope in the team and create a content campaign to share with your audience on whichever channel(s) you choose!  It is a great way to engage with your audience on a frequent basis, with content that resonates with them. The festive period is a time when many are off work and making the most of kicking back and relaxing. The perfect time for scrolling too so make sure you are front of mind and continue with your social media posts. You could also use this time to prepare your content plans for the first Qtr of 2023!
