A Google Algorithm Update (December 2022)
Another update to Google’s algorithm see’s their E-A-T (expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness) search ranking evaluation system gain an extra criteria in the form an additional E for experience.
The impact of this for businesses creating content means consideration and attention needs to be placed on if the content was produced with some degree of experience as Google will be looking at this when it comes to evaluating your content. They explain that “there are some situations where really what you value most is content produced by someone who has first-hand, life experience on the topic at hand.”

Marketing Week shared this week that “ITV is planning a 50% increase to its paid media investment in 2023, as the commercial broadcaster chases ambitious targets for its new online streaming service ITVX.”
