This Halloween, our digital marketing agency in St Albans has gone full Traitors. If you’ve walked down Victoria Street lately, you’ll have spotted our window: candles, ravens, a mysterious hooded figure, our whole team in gold frames, and a lifesize Claudia guarding the door.
Welcome to The Marketing Faithful, our Halloween campaign with one simple mission: to banish bad marketing. Wherever it’s hiding.
The bad habits holding your marketing back
Here’s the uncomfortable truth: most businesses have a traitor or two lurking in their marketing. Not people (we’d never accuse your Steve from accounts). Habits. Sneaky habits that murder your budget, smile at you across the round table and quietly sabotage your growth.
You might recognise a few of these suspects:
- The Boost Button Bandit. Clicks “boost post” on Meta, crosses fingers, calls it a strategy.
- The Ghost Website. Looked lovely in 2019. Hasn’t been seen or updated since. Loads slower than a Traitors reveal.
- The Google Ads Gambler. Broad match, no negatives, no idea where the money went.
- The SEO Recluse. Locked in a turret years ago. Nobody’s checked on it.
- The One Night Only Event. Great on the day. Nobody follows up. Leads vanish into the mist.
- The Lookalike Creative. Could be anyone’s brand. Which is exactly the problem.
- The Strategy Shapeshifter. Changes direction every quarter and never says why.
If any of those made you wince, don’t panic. Every traitor can be banished.
