As Product Manager at OnBrand, Jo brings a dynamic blend of creativity, logic, and customer focus to our audio marketing division — overseeing music and messaging solutions for client PA systems and telephony. With a background that spans fashion, education, and marketing, she’s a true believer in the power of sound to influence customer behaviour — from footfall and dwell time to overall brand experience.

Joanna’s career began in the fashion industry, manufacturing clothing for UK brands in the Far East after completing four years at London College of Fashion, where she studied Design, Marketing and Production Management. After taking time out to raise her family, she spent 16 years leading marketing activity for the UK’s leading education recruitment firm — sharpening her skills in campaign planning, customer communication, and process management.

A move to OnBrand, a full-service marketing agency, “should have happened years ago,” she says — and it’s clear she’s found her home. Jo thrives in a team where every member brings a different strength, creating a collaborative culture where “collectively, we’re specialists at everything.”

She has also completed digital marketing training via Squared Online and continues to apply her strategic mindset to audio campaigns that not only sound great but are designed to deliver real-world results.

Reliable, organised, and delightfully process-driven, Joanna is always looking at how tailored audio can connect with centre demographics and enhance customer experience. She has a deep understanding of the relationship between environment and behaviour — and how the right sound can create the perfect mood.

Fun fact? She once explained how stay-up stockings worked to Farrah Fawcett during a part-time job at Harvey Nichols. She was also raised on Gloucestershire’s famous Cheese Rolling Hill and assumed for many years that everyone spent their May bank holiday chasing dairy down a slope.
