Job Description

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a full-time web designer who will manage, design and develop the agency’s own online resources, applications and fast-growing digital client base.

You will work closely with our in-house copywriter and our existing digital team to brainstorm fresh designs, highlight issues with existing sites, and find solutions to fix one-off and/or recurring problems, ensuring our customers are left happy with our service. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute ideas as well as take direction in order to work towards a common goal.

Your work and designs will impact on millions of customers across the UK and beyond. From designs and concepts that improve the customer experience to stunning finished products, you will be responsible for this key role. About the Company

OnBrand is a well-established marketing and communications agency, pushing customer first principals into marketing and making each of our clients’ customer and shopper experiences something that people want to engage with on a continued basis. Based in Edgware in Middlesex, this is a small and friendly professional team environment with a casual dress code. Core Responsibilities 

  • Liaise with client services team and existing clients to maintain, improve and manage existing client sites and updates
  • Work from inception to completion of new web projects
  • Design and refine the look of the company’s website and applications to ensure maximum visual effectiveness, and improved customer journey
  • Update and publish content for our website, social media and digital channels

Specifically this will involve supporting key clients with activities including:

  • Creating and Managing emails and newsletters
  • Setting up, managing and using Agile CRM
  • Using WordPress plugins (Slider Revolution, Visual Composer)
  • Setting up and managing ongoing SEO for all client sites
  • Assist in integrating our bespoke CMS ensuring design, layout and integrity of content across sites
  • Creating marketing materials (brochures, adverts, postcards, business cards, stickers) for print and banners, logos and other digital assets
  • Identify and fix bugs with HTML / CSS
  • Being in charge of front-end quality control
  • Compiling and reporting ongoing on project success


  • Being able to self-manage and organise work
  • Attention to detail – quality control is essential
  • Managing deadlines and customer needs
  • Working in an environment that prizes communication and a “customer first” ethos
  • Proven history in website and portfolio management
  • 2-years UK based commercial experience


  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator
  • Expertise in HTML5 & CSS3, WordPress & other CMS
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp and other CRMs (Agile)
  • Experience in PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, Git and FTP will be useful
  • Fundamental understanding of good website design, digital channels and tactics
  • Experience in creating intuitive UX solutions, wireframes / sitemaps and user journeys
  • Good knowledge of SEO and social media
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital and design
  • Being able to work in a fast paced environment with a pro-active mind set
  • Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent inter-personal / communication skills with a positive and collaborative attitude

Please note

The ideal candidate will be need to commute to the Edgware office (Northern Line) Monday – Friday, 9am til 5:30pm.
